Embroider a Moth - Beginner Workshop

Welcome transformation. Adopt a new pastime to create beautiful, nature-inspired, functional art.

Let your fingers flutter with thread over linen to reveal a symbol of transformation. Welcome the new season, and embrace change in life. Embroider one of three designs in this two-hour workshop. Take home your mounted creation and display with pride. No experience needed. All materials included.

Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre
When: Sunday, June 30, from 10 am - 12 noon
How much: $40.00 per person + HST
Who: Ages 12 and up. Children must be accompanied by a paid adult

About the Instructor:

Emmett Bridges is a McMaster University graduate who studied Earth & Environmental Science for five years, and became a valuable member of our Wye Marsh Team as a Summer Student in 2023. Now, Emmett works as a Water Technician with a Conservation Authority, and is eager to return to Wye Marsh to show you how to make beautiful functional art inspired by nature!
