    An Open-Air Fundraising Concert! Let the sweet sounds of acoustic guitars, fiddles, and ukuleles lead you along the trails for a magical night at Wye Marsh.
  • Wildlife Photography Workshop - September 23, 2023
    Grab your camera, and get ready to play with lighting, composition and depth-of-field to create artistic wildlife images. Learn how to approach skittish birds and other shy critters to get that perfect shot, under the tutelage of Richard Vandermeer.
  • Marsh by Moonlight Canoe - September 29 & 30, October 6 & 7, 2023
    The Marsh by Moonlight Paddle Series features a guided canoe tour through the sparkling moonlit waters of the Wye Marsh. Twinkling canoes and boardwalk, night noises, some yummy bannock and lots of laughs will make for spectacular photo-ops and an unforgettable night! Connect with nature and enjoy this unique and different perspective of the Marsh. Preregistration required.
  • Kids Crochet an Owl: Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1:30 - 4:00 pm
    Fuel a child's creative spirit with this fun workshop inspired by nature. Crochet an Owl stuffy in an afternoon and bring home 2 additional free patterns.
  • Halloween on the Trails - October 29, 2023
    All things spooky, silly, and sparkly are invited in costume to celebrate Halloween in the marsh! Put on your Halloween finery. Teleport to Wye Marsh. Explore the trails to collect stamps in your Halloween passport.
  • Stone Carving - November 12, 2023
    This is an introductory class for carving alabaster & soapstone. Participants will breathe life into soapstone or alabaster, and learn how to use tools and techniques to sculpt a small pendant - or sculpture - inspired by the biodiversity of Wye Marsh.
  • Crochet Granny Squares and Snowflakes: November 19, 2023 from 1:30 - 4:00 pm
    Granny Squares and Snowflakes Crochet Workshop: Start a new hobby. Learn how to crochet a "Granny Square" and the possibilities are endless!
