Adopt a Bench at Wye Marsh

Adopting a Bench is a wonderful way to honour the memory of a loved one, commemorate a milestone, or celebrate one of life’s milestones.

Choose from a variety of locations, all of which are located in a beautiful natural setting.  Bench Adoptions include a 3” x 6” plaque with a personalized dedication.  You will be asked to provide the dedication at the time of payment, and each dedication is allotted 85 character spaces including any dates.

Adoption terms are in 3 year increments and each increment is $350.00.  Wye Marsh will send you an option to renew prior to the end of the term.  All adoptions are eligible for a tax receipt.

Money raised through the Adopt-A-Bench program supports the Wye Marsh general fund.  A portion of the funds will be used for the maintenance of the benches, and the remainder of the funds will be used for everything from educational programs to stewardship initiatives.

To make your donation, please follow the above link and enter in your details. Using the 'Dedication' drop down menu, please write whom the bench is in honour of, and if there are any associated dates. A staff member will email you to confirm the wording of the plaque for your bench before it is ordered.

Your tax receipt will be emailed to you. If you require assistance, please contact Wye Marsh at 705-526-7809.
