Stargazing at Wye Marsh - Friday, August 9, 2019; 11:00pm-1:00am

Join the Wye Marsh in observing The Perseid, one of the most prolific and best-known meteor showers!

The Perseid Meteor Shower is known for its stunning fireballs and bright meteors. Many burn intensively with bright, persistent trails! Enjoy a memorable night on the boardwalk under a blanket of stars and watch the annual meteor shower erupt during this time of maximum meteor activity.

An Outdoor Educator will awnser your astronomy questions, as well as speak about the stars and meteors seen during the evening. 

Hot/cold drinks and light snacks will be available for purchase; all you need to bring is a chair and a wish!


When: Friday, August 9th, from 11:00pm-1:00am

Where: Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, 16160 Highway 12 E, Tay

How much: Admission to this event is by donation.
