Winter Pursuits For Kids!

Thank you for an amzing 2020, stay tuned for new changes in 2021's program!

What's the best way to learn about nature? By EXPERIENCING nature!

Exclusively run outdoors, this program will focus on embracing all that winter has to offer!  From snowshoe obstacle courses & bannock roasting to shelter building & animal tracking, participants will learn new skills, uncover some of winter's mysteries and have fun outdoors!

Rates:

  • Member* - $12.35 per participant/day 
  • Non-Member - $19.00 per participant/ day

* Member Rate Applies to Valid, Annual Family Membership Holders

Times:

  • 1:00pm-3:00pm

Ages:

  • 6-12 years old (must be enrolled in Grade 1 minimum)

Dates:​

  • 2021 dates to be determined, stay tuned

Winter Pursuits 'Uniform':

Outer Ensemble Small Backpack Containing:
  • Winter coat
  • Snow pants
  • Hat
  • Scarf
  • Mitts
  • Boots
  • Dress in loose fitting layers (preferably wool/synthetics, avoid cotton)
  • Snack (appropriate for eating with mitts on; preferably litterless)
  • Water bottle
  • Extra mitts
  • Extra socks

 

How to register:

Space is limited!  Once your registration form below is submitted you will be given the option to pay for your desired dates via PayPal on the following page. You do not need a PayPal account - the site will prompt you to pay with your Credit Card or Visa Debit as a 'guest'.

*Please note:

  • Make sure that the name entered in PayPal matches the name of the Parent/ Guardian so that we can match registrations.
  • You are able to register for multiple days at once.
