Trails to Walk, Bike or Ski
A scenic location to visit no matter what season of the year. Wye Marsh has over twenty five kilometers of trails. In the winter time our trails are primarily used for a little hiking, lots of snowshoeing and even more skiing. We groom our ski trails in the classic style approxmiately once a week throughout the winter. In the summer time those same trails (except for the return ski trail) are biking trails - and we have bikes that you can rent for your visit. The bikes can either take you out on our trails which are for experienced trail bikers or can take you along the nearby (5 minute bike ride) Tay Shore Trail which is a paved path. You can find out more information about the condition of our trails below.
Current Trail Condtions
Trails are currently snow covered and wet. Our ski and snowshoe trails are not open yet. For the most up to date trails conditions please call us 705-526-7809.
Currently the end of the boardwalk trail is closed. We are hopeful that we will be able to repair the boardwalk by winter 2015. However this is of course dependant on our ability to raise the funds to do the work. Please consider donating today.
Graham MacDonald Snowshoe Trail is closed seasonally - currently awaiting enough snow to open it up for the season. Not that anyone is wishing for snow yet!
