Wye Marsh Provincial Wildlife Area (WMU 76)

Hunting Information

The Wye Marsh Provincial Wildlife Area is managed by The Friends of Wye Marsh Inc., under a custodial agreement with the Ministry of Natural Resources. Hunters are asked to observe all current Federal and Provincial hunting regulations in effect . A copy of these regulations is available at any MNR District Office, license issuers & most sporting goods outlets.  

A Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre hunting pass is required while hunting on Wye Marsh property. Hunting passes can be purchased in person at the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre or by phone during regular business hours.

Please note: Hunting is prohibited in the sanctuary area of the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre (150 acres). Hunters found hunting within the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre sanctuary will be prosecuted.

•  Hunter Safety Course for Falconry and Archery (Hunter Safety)
•  Hunter Safety full course (Hunter Safety and Possession and Acquisition License)
