Turkey Trot Race at Wye Marsh

For most people, Thanksgiving conjures up excitement for pumpkin pie and turkey. But for runners, Thanksgiving usually begins with a turkey trot themed race. The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre invites you to leap into a natural experience you will always remember. Take part in the 5 km Race or Half Marathon through the trails of Wye Marsh and experience the beauty of nature.

The 5K has two divisions: 1)12 and under division 2)13 and up division.
The half marathon has four divisions: 1) Women 39 and under 2) Women 40 and up
3) Men 39 and under 4) Men 40 and up

Awards will be given to the top 3 finishers in each race and age category.  Also each participant will receive a T-shirt and medal to commemorate this event. 

Date: Saturday, October 11th, 2008     
Time: Hand-out of Kits at 8:00 am day of the race only
Half Marathon Starts at 9:00am and 5K Starts at 9:30am
Cost: $30.00 per person
