There are over 227 species of wild birds in the Wye Valley. Over the past year, the Friends of Wye Marsh Inc. have funded a Biological Inventory of this area.

A section of the inventory includes an up-to-date listing of all the wild bird species in the Wye Valley. It outlines in which season(s) you would be likely to see the bird according to their migration patterns, their preferred habitats and the abundance of that particular species.

Look for the Biological Inventory Report (Bowles, 2001) when you visit the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre Shop.
